While working on web sites, programming, or sometimes just browsing, users sometimes need to convert text into different formats. Now the five most common encodings are available on the OS X Dashboard.

This Widget can encode and decode the following: Base64 (used in XML Schema, data: URLs, and email), URLEncoding, XML escaping, Hex encoding, and Rot13.

Download now. On Safari, it will auto-install. If you use a different browser, unzip and drag the folder to ~/Library/Widgets.
